Hi, I'm Josh — and I've been obsessed with a good photograph since before I even knew what that meant.

It started with sneakers. Growing up in Wellesley, Massachusetts, I had a Jordan collection I was convinced deserved to be documented properly. So I grabbed a camera and started shooting. From there it was my local church, then my high school hallways, and then — junior year, 2015 — I shot my first wedding at 16 years old. I was hooked.

Twelve years and 600+ weddings later, I still feel that same pull every single time.

I built my craft spending nearly a decade at one of Rhode Island's premier wedding studios, where I honed my eye for both photo and video across hundreds of celebrations — including the weddings of NFL players and Olivia Culpo's engagement party. In 2025 I took everything I'd built and launched Badlands Photo Co., because I was ready to do things my way: intimate, intentional, and completely focused on you.

I'm based in Rhode Island but I call New England home, and I'll go wherever your love takes us — I've photographed weddings as far as Italy and everywhere in between.

When I'm not behind a lens, I'm logging miles. Running has become one of the defining chapters of my life — I've qualified for the Boston Marathon with a PR of 2:47, completed 32, 36, and 50-mile ultramarathons, and run 70–80 miles most weeks. The discipline, the endurance, the ability to stay present through discomfort — it's shaped how I approach wedding days more than anything else. I show up focused, I stay the entire day, and I don't miss a moment.

At home, I'm husband to my best friend Liz and dad to Hudson (2) and Isla (4 months), which means I understand — maybe better than ever — just how fast these moments go. Your wedding day will be over before you know it. My job is to make sure you have it forever.
